Just seen a trail for this, and Digiguide has the following synopsis:

'New live show featuring music and chat, as well as the latest sports news. Including interviews, phone-ins, competitions, features and special guests'

Sounds interesting - I don't know much about the workings of Play UK (other than its Flextech/BBC obviously) - but is this the first live show they've done?

Weren't The Phone Zone and TOTP@Play live?

Yep - each one littered with problems (when I saw them, anyway!)

There is a difference: PhoneZone/TOTP@play were music-based shows, like MTV's Select. The Score is a football based show, kind of a TV version of a talkSport phone in. It's part of Play's move from being a music channel to a general entertainment channel.
