Due to various events, next Saturday's schedules on BBC1 and ITV1 are much different that we come to expect.

Starting with BBC1

17:15 BBC News; Regional News
17:30 Junior Mastermind
18:30 Doctor Who - 30 mins earlier than usual, expect people to miss it
19:10 National Lottery: Come and Have a Go - Also earlier
20:00 Eurovision Song Contest
23:20 BBC News

Due to a combination of the FA Cup Final, Doctor Who's new time, axing Celebrity Wrestling, Eurovision and trying to get common junctions, ITV1's schedule looks a right mess

16:35 Regional News and Sport - About 25 mins earlier than usual
16:50 You've Been Framed - Also very early
17:20 Star Wars: Episode 1
19:10 ITV Weekend News and Sport - 2 hours later than usual
19:25 Star Wars: Episode 1
20:00 Who Wants to be a Millionaire
21:00 Hit Me Baby One More Time - Grand Final
22:15 Celebrity Love Island Live
23:15 ITV News

Why on earth have ITV got their evening bulletin at 7.10pm when there is only 35 minutes of the film left. They never have a news bulletin at that time on a Saturday normally so there is totally no need of it. I can understand them having bulletins in the middle of films mid week when they want to keep the news bulletin at 10.30pm but this one seems a bit random doesnt it?

Do they really think this will stop people watching Dr Who on BBC1? Star Wars will be hacked to death anyway Rolling Eyes

Surely anyone who would be a Star Wars fan would be a Doctor Who fan... and would have seen Star Wars before but obviously not Doctor Who... don't think that'll do any better than Celebrity Wrestling to be honest.

What a strange night for ITV to hold the final of Hit Me. If you are a Eurovision fan there would be no way in the world you'd turn over to any channel between 8pm and 11pm.

That has to be ITV's most desperate schedule to date.

This would be much easier:

16:45 You've been Framed
17:15 Regional News
17:30 Weekend News
17:45 Star Wars: Episode 1
20:00 Who Wants to be a Millionaire
21:00 Hit Me Baby One More Time - Grand Final
22:15 News
22:30 Celebrity Love Island

Wouldn't it have been better then to have kept Dr Who in its familiar 1900 slot and had a Wednesday-esque Lottery draw, so in effect we'd have this:

17:45 BBC News; Regional News
18:00 Junior Mastermind
19:00 Doctor Who
19:45 National Lottery Draw
19:50 Erm ... News? 10 mins of PIFs? 10 more mins of whacky Lottery wonderment? 10 minute filler (Alistair McGowan more often than not!)
20:00 Eurovision Song Contest
23:20 BBC News

Here's a radical idea - drop the lottery draw altogether Very Happy

It looks like ITV took the opportunity to axe or move Celebrity Stitch Up then Sad Or was it at the end of its run anyway Confused:

Well considering ITV have an unusual schedule next Saturday perhaps it will reappear the following Saturday? Celebrity Stitch up was the only thing I watched on ITV1 on Saturday - it was funny seeing Emmerdale's Ben Freeman set up!

Considering they showed the 'outtakes' as such at the end of yesterday's, I would presume it was the last in the series

No, there is one show still to be broadcast.I don't know when it will air given that it is Star Wars movies for the next FOUR weeks (unless they are axed due to poor ratings Laughing Laughing Laughing ).
Regarding Hit Me Baby, it is typical of ITV to broadcast a show for seven weeks at 5.30-6.00 p.m. then have the final at 9.00 p.m.
