and the hyphen! Bid-up.tv
ITV is currently my choice of Saturday night viewing, if I'm in. Although neither channel is particularly good at the moment. The last time I watched BBC1 on a Saturday night was when Dog Eat Dog was on.
ITV is still pretty poor. The sooner this Celebrities Under Pressure nonsense has finished, the better. Millionaire is also quite boring. However, Pop Idol is fun to watch.
BBC1 has gone downhill since Noel's House Party was axed, and I think Mr Edmonds is due a comeback. So, Katherine, it'll be time to get on your bike and start looking for those NTV vans again.

I don't really rate any of the terrestrial channels highly for saturday night entertainment any more. It just seems to have gone down a very steep hill lately.
I do occasionally watch Pop Idol if I want to laugh at the lack of talent, otherwise I see what's on sky movies and the other digital channels.

For me it's either
ITV1; for Pop Idol
Bravo; for The Detectives
CNBC; Leno and Conan O'Brien.
I don't touch the BBC on a saturday night with a ten foot pole to be honest, nothing intrests me on there, they need to scrap the Lottery and for some reason it always looks like that Casualty seems to dominate the evening and I don't like it. Sometimes it can be worth a flick through Sky Movies as someone said, maybe Paramount, but the Internet wins hands down.
