Minus the over-PP of Morrisons Razz Not bad for a first show, I thought it was brilliant. More about Ant & Dec themselves and less about Zelebs and wannabes and just back-to-basics entertainment.

A fantastic return, they've definitely chosen the segments that worked very well with the live Ant vs Dec challenges, little Ant & Dec and the undercovers. Nice to see tht they've dropped the random inclusions of many not so famous people appearing, and the finale worked very well, including a fitting tribute to Ed Forsdick at the end.

I would NOT be doing an unrehearsed stunt from 24 storeys up on a live show. Or even a pre-recorded one.

No way.

I'm not convinced at all it was live - even with the break either side to believe they got changed, went up 24 storey, got hooked up to the safety harness and briefed accordingly all in five minutes is a bit much to believe. ITV though seemingly really pushing "ITV Towers" during the show.

As for the show - nothings changed and not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing. Short term it won't do them any harm, but long term it needs fresh ideas as it's repetitive nature is what led to it being axed in the first place. It looks like even their new "I'm a Celebrity... Get Out of Me Ear" feature, which was hilarious tonight, will have to fight for airtime with Undercover.

Well the fact that Little Ant & Dec and Undercover are back shows that it has changed, as those features were dropped years before the original run ended. These features will be even fresher as a result. At least there was no Ant v Dec: The teams with 100 celebs roped in.

Nail on the head imho. Thankfully they've cut down on the endless Z list celebs which littered the last few runs though.

Fair point - the lifts in that building are notoriously bad.

Any ideas what part of tonight's show this would have been for? http://www.applausestore.com/applausestore-book-show.php?id=2315&bid=1

THIS IS NOT TO ATTEND the live transmission. You will be attending a pre-recorded section that will be included in the live show, transmitted later that evening.

Not a bad show in all honesty. Just as if it the Takeaway had never left us. Hope it carries on like that.

The I'm A Celebrity spoof was simply genius if only for the name of the game alone.
Really liked and appreciated The Apprentice send-up for Little Little Ant & Dec. That won't stick, even the Twitter's feed lost a "little" from the text. It will always simply be "Little Ant & Dec" whatever the generation. Tough act to follow though.

Think the last time I really enjoyed a show like this with actual laugh-out-loud moments was probably the debut of Outnumbered Series 3.

Wonder what that meant to viewers in Scotland and Northern Ireland...

Maybe next week to make up for it, Maggi Lavender and Julian Simmons get cameos in the pre-opening title skit?

The Pugwash parody was a nice call back as well to the "Little Ant and Dec" versions of the 2002-03 ITV1 (as it was then, no need to add to the swear jar) idents.

...or also the time Philip Elsmore had a cameo at the end of an episode of "Morecambe and Wise" (2'50" in):
