I think Dec's been saying it most weeks, final chance next week!

Another great show tonight I thought. Their enjoyment and the effort from the production team really comes across onscreen. Great that they make such a point of where they're broadcasting from too - the end of the show sequence going to the pub (which I'm sure wasn't as easy at it looked) was technically flawless. And no rubbish black credits...or no credits if watching STV Laughing

The only letdown for me was Piers' gotcha. The execution just seemed a little quick, they used to play crueller jokes on Beadles About!

A pound in the jar for Saturday Night Takeaway. When teasing Win the Ads I'm fairly sure Dec said "from one of ITV1's biggest shows".

Pretty sure the same happened last week too. Shocking stuff.

That's happened every week on the Takeaway this series.

With regards to Michael Bublé, became pretty obvious from early on in it wasn't a live performance. Not as good as previous End Of The Show Shows, unfortunately.

Agreed. Although knowing Piers (which I don't) perhaps he was starting to smell a rat so they got it over and done with....

I wonder where that green screen was? They cut to a camera showing someone give Piers his cake and the green screen was in full view!

I think you've missed the point somewhat.

I agreed with those who say execution of Piers Morgan's windup was disappointing, as was the Jeremy Kyle one earlier in the series neither really ascended into enough of a farce. They Ant & Dec into it too early as well.

ITV really trying to turn The London Studios into the new television centre as well, with the way it's been used utilised throughout series.

Thoroughly good Saturday night entertainment this evening.

Totally agree. Couldn't have said it better.

Did I imagine it or did they crash through a security barrier when they were on the golf buggy?

They did but it was very clearly a lightweight prop one that was there for effect.

It's worth noting SNT rated at 7.2M last night where as The Voice got 6.2M, I'm finding it very hard to imagine that this pattern will change when BGT returns in a couple of weeks.

Yeah they've been quite clever in that respect - continuation of Ant and Dec on Saturday nights after a very popular series. I do wish there were longer runs though - Noel's House Party used to run for 22 weeks a year. If X Factor can go on for four months then surely Takeaway can last a little longer than seven weeks.

Thanks, I didn't catch the impact just caught it hitting the ground.

I agree SNT should be a little longer, even 12 weeks would be ok, Late late breakfast was on air for 30 weeks,

Its just trying to fit A&D in since 3 weeks in Nov and 6 weeks in April/May. Maybe two 6 week runs?

* Jan - Mar?
* Sept - Oct?
