I know nowadays opinion seem to outrank fact but Studio 1 including the facade and atomic dots plus the donut ring are listed.

Still no, if ITV pay to call it ITV Television Centre they can
The fact that it's listed would mean there would be rules about what type of sign could be put up, and they would have to apply for listed building consent.
This is why, for example, that Anglia House in Norwich still has the old "Anglia Television" signage on the front of the building.
This is why it still says BBC Television Centre on the façade.

It just says Television Centre now. The BBC logo was removed.
That's just a description of the building. The sign isn't listed, as it says it's a recent replacement.

So you agree the listed building status wouldn't prevent an ITV logo being put up?

Will never happen. ITV do not have the lease, so why would they? It is BBC Studioworks property under leasehold no matter what they would like. Why would ITV do this anyway in your view?
You seem to be missing the point, this completely hypothetical scenario knows that ITV don’t lease the building. ITV might want to do it for vanity and promotional reasons. They’re the only broadcaster who actually use the image of TV centre in their programming so I don’t think it would be skin off anyone else’s noses.
But I don’t think it’s necessarily going to happen. I was just making the point that I thought it’s something that could happen in the future.
But none of that would stop a lump of cash being transferred between the various interested parties to stick an ITV logo on the side of TC1.

No because the logo on there wasn't the original, and if it was listed they'd probably not have been able to take the old logo off

Yes, I never said none of it was, just the sign.
The 'Atomic dots' are because they're original, the signage dates from 1997

I never said it would. What I said was that the listed building status would put restrictions on the type of sign they could put up, which would make it less likely for them to do so.
Television Centre was listed in 2009, which is over a decade after the current sign was installed.

Not strictly true, Sunday Brunch do as well.
Anyway, three pages discussing a completely hypothetical scenario is bordering very off topic now, I'd suggest this gets back to SNT discussion.

They'll probably use the same set although I wouldn't mind them changing it. It will be interesting to see how they will work the opening with them coming down the stairs. Although they may scrap it considering the size and layout of TC1.
Do we think they'll be a new set or have they likely just transferred the set from the London Studios. I'm guessing the dimensions are not hugely different and of course over recent years especially many shows have transferred from one to the other.

The official BBC Studioworks website has welcomed Ant and Dec to Television Centre today - https://bbcstudioworks.com/news/bbc-studioworks-welcomes-saturday-night-takeaway-to-television-centre/
