Seems to be inconsistency on that - some shows will list them in the credits but not all. Personally I think that should be a requirement.
Do they have to produce a list of product placement references somewhere?

I wonder if any of the Get Out Of Me Ear guests will actually get to the studio this series.

Bradley's an Undercover victim, though the principle's much the same.
Fans of inconsequential cock-ups will be fascinated to hear that the sound effect card reading "end" got flashed up before the end of the end of the show show.
I knew when it first appeared that we hadn't seen the end of the "end" of the end of the end of the show show.
Also that last spinning shot showed that the end of the show show was very brightly lit compared to the rest of the studio, presumably because to keep the puppeteers in black hidden.

I know it is only week 2, but it seems this show is just plain boring to me. The magical shine has gone. A 60 minute show padded out to 90 minutes.
Maybe we are lucky they only produce 7 of these per year. Remember they only air 7 editions in a year, you would think with that amount of shows they could make it ten times better.
Noel's House Party was usually on for 20 to 22 weeks and was miles better in the 1991-1993 era that SNT now in 2020 - sorry.

There seems to be a lack of features and it’s padded out with long edits of items and competitions. Even the old days of grab the ads with Celeb guests in the studio used to add something else. It doesn’t seem as quick paced as it used to do. Is this the first addition in recent times where they haven’t done the happiest minute segment?
There does seem to be far too much product placement and I think that’s over shadowing some of the items. Greggs was mentioned at least three times verbally in the segment and was featured on staff badges throughout, so I assume that would have been a placement too.
I’m a fan of Ant & Dec, and the show, but feel like they’re playing things safely and allowing things to slide and get stagnant a little.
Here’s a 2008 version of the show for comparison:

Although SNT of 2020 is nowhere near as bad as NHP of 1997/98. It does feel with SNT that all the ingredients are there, it's just not quite right when it's baked. Overcooked perhaps.
I did think it was better tonight but things like the proposals and Get out of My Ear are just getting too long a slot - the show needs a bit of pace back in it, and that's probably only one extra feature to knock a couple of minutes off everything else.
Still not enough new content either considering how long they've been off - Win a Week off Work was basically In for a Penny done at what felt like a company buying airtime.

It just all feels very safe. Whereas in the first incarnation they’d make every available opportunity to make you aware that they’re live. You had Jiggy Bank, Ant vs Dec, What’s Next?... I could go on.
A lot of the show now is taken up by pre-recorded inserts. The odd unpredictable thing happens. But there’s very limited opportunity to do so.
And in the era of Netflix, you need to give the audience more of an incentive to watch the show live.
If most of it is pre-recorded - the buzz and excitement of it being live is lost. And also as most of the show is strictly scripted and scheduled, I think it makes Ant & Dec appear rigid and the show less exciting, when we all know the duo are more than capable of delivering exciting live telly.
