That would be a bit of a random choice, considering he’s had several attempts at TV and none of them have a massive hit. I’m sure many people would offer.

I wonder what will happen to all those competition winners who won a place on a plane.

I imagine ITV probably want the final two episodes to go ahead especially the finale so I imagine they'll be working things out,

I assume you've never seen Chris Moyles on TV (I say this as a fan of him on the radio!)

This obviously affects the rest of the series somewhat. TLS might not be getting its big live shiny floor show send off if there's any likelyhood the rest of the series won't be going ahead as planned. I guess all the "place on the plane" prizes given away so far will have to be honoured, but there'll be no big SNT finale show taking place at the Universal Studios theme park. Probably.

I would presume the hiatus just stands for this week coming until they decide what to do with the final two episodes.

The complication comes with the commitments they’ve made to viewers with the holiday tickets given out which they would really need to honour regardless whether the series continues or not.

Mullhern could stand in, he is on the show anyway and he is well liked by the audience. Also how does this affect BGT, I know the early episodes are recorded but if he is not well by the live final week in May then again who would step up
