I'd love to see the Chart Show back, but it would have to keep that style of fast-paced CG sequences introducing the various segments of the show; that is what made it originally, and is what would make it stand out today.

BBC did have a sports programme lined up - just in case. It was shown a couple of summer ago with John Inverdale - now that was quite good and entertaining to watch.

NO. IT WAS NOT.

I can't even remember what the show was called now, it was such an utter pile of dreck. Something like "On the game" but even crappier - attempting to mix hard news with light features and sport, and OG news, with a presenter who just didn't seem competent at all and a news presenter who eclipsed most of the projection screen with her bump, God bless her.

It finished and didn't return because it was ****e and replaced next summer by News 24 Sunday.

Just to fill in the blanks there, the show was called 'In the Know', was presented by John Inverdale and Louise Minchin, and was simulcast on News 24. And I certainly wouldnt describe John Inverdale as incompetent!
