Not that he's worth it. He only just about managed to muster the ratings Saturday Showdown, something produced on a shoestring in comparison, used to get.
In theory though, what should have happened is that the viewers followed AWT over to Saturday Cooks. Saturday Kitchen was axed because it's presenter and it's entire production team have left and then this thread could have been about developing a new idea for BBC1 Saturday mornings

Obviously it didn't work like that
BBC did have a sports programme lined up - just in case. It was shown a couple of summer ago with John Inverdale - now that was quite good and entertaining to watch. If James Martin hadn't had worked out I bet they would have replaced him with that sports show.

I;m Lost !
What he is trying to say is that in practice BBC should have lost their viewers to ITV as they followed AWT and then this thread would have been about what to do with BBC1 Saturday mornings!!!!!!

thank you,
but lets face it, BBC did a very clear thing by just inverting a New show, so then tricking the viewers into still wacthing the BBC!

What's new about it??? - just the same show as before but with a new presenter.
It's like saying that This Morning is a totally different show now, with Fern and Phil, then when it was before, with Richard & Judy. In fact same show just different presenters!!!!!

How about what has always been there? B please.
I fear it is too late for that as children have now moved on to othe channels on Freeview./Satellite or even BBC or five!!! Its the one thing that ITV shouldn't have done and they will pay for it in a few years when they will have even less viewers than now!!!!

NO. IT WAS NOT.
I can't even remember what the show was called now, it was such an utter pile of dreck. Something like "On the game" but even crappier - attempting to mix hard news with light features and sport, and OG news, with a presenter who just didn't seem competent at all and a news presenter who eclipsed most of the projection screen with her bump, God bless her.
It finished and didn't return because it was **** and replaced next summer by News 24 Sunday.
