I'm 14, and lets face it. Saturday Morning Telly is a shambles.
I remember when i was small, I ran downstairs to watch Live and Kicking and I'd be glued to the telly for the full 3 hours 15 minutes...
And then, It started to decrease. When L&K pulled the plug in 2000. Saturday mornings wern't the same.
The Saturday Show, boring title, boring bloody show alltogether and then Dick and Dom, Well, Lets not go there. Funny in the beginning but towards the end, It was a joke full-stop and then,
Thank God, 16th Sept, 2006, TMi. The best Saturday Morning TV Show since L&K.

On that list I would say Live & Kicking, but only the Andi Peters/Emma Forbes & Jamie Theakstone/Zoe Ball era, after that it dropped a bit with Emma Ledden/Steve Wilson (?), the final incarnation was abismal, even the new theme was sh*te

No SM:TV on the list I see, interesting, and no Tis-Was either!

I new about the Sat Morn TV in My Era 1993-present. Didn't put SM:TV becuase it was a show that was trying to hard to beat BBC and L&K. The only thing good about SM:TV was the hottie that presented it with Ant and Dec (Cat Deely)

Never knew about Tis-Was

I'm more from the era of Going Live and the first run of presenters of Live and Kicking. (Andi and Emma although wasn't keen on John Barrowman's presenting in the first year) Although that was during the time of when I was part of the target audience. Since then I liked SMTV during the Ant and Dec era. Hated after that. I liked the second year of Ministry of Mayhem although wasn't keen on the Saturday "Run the" Showdown and TMi

This is an extract from the TMi page at saturdaymornings.co.uk

TMi steered Saturday morning television right back to the golden era enjoyed up to the end of L&K's sixth series, and what a great job it did too.

There are so many comparisons that can be made between TMi and L&K, Going Live!, SuperStore and Swap Shop - and that's why it works!

It's simply Sam, Mark, Caroline and the crew making a great programme and almost having too much fun doing it.

Forgot about the excellent Going Live

Unfortunately BBC 1 & ITV 1 used the poor excuse of "there are kids channels nowadays so the programmes aren't neccessary" line, when we all know that's complete b*ll*cks

Where is SMTV Live? That was more popular than Saturday Show or L&K! Shocked

Well I would have voted SM:TV Live if it had been included.
