Does anyone know if these programmes will be coming back to ITV1 in the future.

Saturday Cooks
Replaced CITV and now CITV is back Confused

Sunday Feast
What happened..

And "Christmas Cooks" starts closer to christmas - will this just be Saturday Cooks, just different name and different air times?

Christmas Cooks is just a festive edition of Saturday Cooks.
I think there is a daily edition of the show (Mon-Fri) in the new year.
Not sure about Sunday Feast.

Forget Sunday Feast! - Something For The Weekend is far superior!!!!!

ITV should stop copying other ideas from other channels and actually start making programmes of their own ideas - just like they used to. The winter schedule seems to be heading in the correct direction but there is still too much copy-cat programmes on the channel, i.e. David Dickison's show and Trinny & Suzannahs (not sure of the spelling!) show! - pure copycats of what's been on either BBC or C4

There appears to be a daily show going out at lunchtimes in the new year called "Monday's kitchen" "Tuesday's kitchen" etc

Does it really matter if its a 2 hour show or a whole bunch of rubbish programmes strung together. Remember the days between Motormouth and SMTV Live! - A whole host of rubbish programmes connected by a cartoon dragon presenter (more recently seen on Pop/Tiny Pop).

All ITV are doing are showing children's programmes in the same way that the US Networks, the German channels, the Dutch channels and even the Oz channel do on a Saturday morning - the cheap option (albeit many of the other channels do actually have at least 90 minutes worth of children's programming either early in the morning - not possible on ITV1 due to GMTV - or in the afternoons before the early evening news)

I think they should have Toonatik from 7am until 9am and then Citv 9am until about 11am - cartoons then programmes like Thats So Raven - or the other live comedy stuff.

Toonattik is a GMTV programme and GMTV is contracted to 925. So I can't see that happening unless there was some sort of co-production like when GMTV first started and they had The Disney Club on between 830 and 925 - which was a co-production between Disney (who have owned 25% of GMTV since the bearly days) and Scottish (who use to own 25% of GMTV until selling to ITVplc) for both GMTV and ITV Network

Lets put it this way I now watch more of Soccer AM (with Tim Lovejoy) then I ever did before (when I'm not working on a Saturday!). Don't like the big man or even BBC1's show - although I must admit I do like the Sunday morning magazine - Something For the Weekend (again presented by Tim Lovejoy).

BTW does anyone know if Soccer AM's ratings have gone up since the withdrawal of CITV on ITV1. Or, in general, how are Saturday mornings doing across the 5 terristrial channels and the main saturday morning multi-channel programmes (e.g. Soccer AM)
