Now that ITV have moved Saturday Cooks to the old Music shows slot - does this mean that ITV are finally admitting that it was a flop in the early morning slot (although they do say that research shows that people prefer it in a later slot - if that's the case then why is the Saturday Kitchen so successful for the BBC????), could this mean that ITV could actually bring back a decent Saturday morning children's magazine show?????

I think that daily cook - at 3pm coudl do very well,
( also there could move the kids to 3.30pm - 5pm)
Yawn, kids TV as we know it has gone from ITV, get over it, move on.
Just as much as Grandstand is leaving the BBC!!!!! (just kidding!)
If children's do leave ITV then effectively they are breaking their PSB rules as they have to show 8 hours of children's programming a week (although this can be more or less depedning on how ITV work it - just as long the it averages 8 hours a week over the year!!!) I also feel that OFCOM are actually going to tell ITV that they can't reduce (just like their original judgement - remember even Sky1 shows more than 8 hours a week!!!) the output any further, and if anything OFCOM should force ITV to show at least 8 hours a week no matter what!!!

3 hours on Saturday then there only have to show 1 hour on Monday - Friday
;
I was reading something that said the ITV are saving up programming and are going to show more programming during Half term when they can attract the audience more.
In my mind that would mean that they would air programmes in the morning whilst this morning has a week off.
Then again, they could find some way around it.
Surely they will find that more viewers will watch a great Saturday Morning show than random programmes on saturday morning, but then again, which is cheaper is most probably what ITV are looking at.
Hopefully this government fund comes in soon, and can help kids TV as a whole to get back on track.
Did anyone see the live trail for Saturday Cooks just before Dickinson's Real Deal? They obviously weren't ready for their cue in the studio, which resulted in us seeing Mr Worrall-Thompson forcibly pushing one of the female crew out of shot! It was quite comical but also slightly disturbing!
