It's for CBBC, so unless you regularly watch it, you are unlikely to have, amazingly.

I can see why you think that but the show is actually getting fantastic ratings AND reviews!

BBC One started showing episodes from the first series of Sarah-Jane on Sunday Afternoons a few months back. Then they dropped it, started it again and have since dropped it again. Having looked the episode list up, it apparently turns out the entire series was shown by sticking two 25min episodes together. Apparently split for original transmission.
With regards to the "pilot", if the episode you saw featured around a product called Bubble Shock, then it wasn't a pilot, it was a holiday special.
Anyway, Sarah Jane Adventurers is a good little show. Although it's blatantly a spin-off of Doctor Who, I don't know why but I much prefer it to Doctor Who.

The Sarah Jane Adventures sometimes achieve a maturity in their story lines that not even Torchwood can match sometimes. Take this year's story 'Mark of the Berserker.' In it there is an alien pendant that makes people do what the pendant holder tells them to do, in this story Clyde's absentee Dad uses it to get back with his son and give him everything he wanted, had this been dreamed up on Torchwood, Owen Harper would be using it to hump everything with a pulse. SJA is a good little series when it wants to be, sadly Series 2 didn't quite match up to the promise of Series 1.

No no no. CBBC started showing episodes from series 1 every Monday late last year around September. CBBC Channel would then show the following episode straight after. CBBC channel would always be 1 episode ahead. Each episode got an average of 1-2 million viewers. Due to the success, CBBC commissioned series 2. This was ALSO broadcast on Mondays and the next episode was ALSO shown on CBBC channel right after. The series just finished last month and got viewing figures of around 0.70 million.

With all due respect I think I know what I've been watching and I have seen Sarah-Jane repeat airings of Series 1 on BBC One Sunday afternoons at points over the last three months.
