Loved the ending with the Neighbours sad theme - couldn't have fitted better.

Mark Lamaar was a good host, but I do agree that Simon Amstell has injected new life into the show, in a similar way to which Bill Bailey did a few years ago when he replaced Sean Hughes as team captain.

Mark Lamarr just played comedy on his own annoyance and anger in the end whereas Simon plays the innocent cheeky schoolboy.

Hahaha! Superb.

I've got that T-shirt the guys wearing.

Ooh where's it from? Me likes it!

Hilarious stuff! The programme is so much more watchable without Mark Lamaar(sp?!) presenting it.

Agreed, Amstell doesn't come across as a smug tosser, just a cheeky git Very Happy

That was funny. Poor Pweston looked like he didn't really want to be there from the beginning.

SImon Amstell is pretty much a rising star IMO - always liked him on Popworld and that T4 show he did.

Which begs the question.... why did he even bother going on in the first place? is he that desperate for exposure??

EDIT: Aye, I've always liked Simon Amstell too - my sort of humour and quite likable aswell. I remember when he was on Nickelodeon years ago.

Strange innit. he's done popworld with Amstell and Buzzcocks with Lamaar and Phil Jupitas is a good friend of Prestons. I reckon he was on a comedown from all those sleeping pills the day that show was recorded. Oddly Mr. Hellfire sided with Preston ( that is a first as Mr. H has never had anyything good to say about him before now)

I don't know if Bills' action was spur of the moment but if was amusing to watch. The random audience member (Ed?) arguably has the same celebrity status as Preston, for a while at least. I wonder if a clip of the episode will make it onto TV Burp.

It's been suggested that it was a set up by Preston to gain publicity. The fact that he looked annoyed from the outset would back that up
