Saga of TVS goes on

As well all know TVS is well a mess with half the stock, with ITV hold many drama and news while the other half well missing like catchphrase.

So this time around its Fraggle rock, it been bugger me as to why hit/hendson keep showing the US Version on uk tv. so I email someone and ask about the tapes etc and it will it turns out that well only 12 of the 96 TVS master are around ( BFI have them)

meaning over 84 tapes are missing. to be added to the list!

TVS Has to be one of the biggest losers when it comes to all these missing tapes.

To be fair it wasn't TVS, it was their successors.

I don't think anyone's loosened anything

anyways it now begs the Question if a load of episode were put on tape in the early 90;s what happened to them?

does anyone know what the videos are ?

SO we've got a similar situation to what happened with the BBC Archives of Doctor Who, Z-Cars, Dixon Of DOck Green, Hancocks Half Hour, etc.

Except this time with 80's material, thanks Disney/ABC (whatever they're called now).

Unfortunately Henson can only locate 12 of the 96 UK masters and so this is all the material available to us. This has been investigated by Henson here in the UK and in the US but unfortunately for us and for UK Fraggle Rock fans the remaining masters have never materialised
