Sky and News 24 both had problems getting sound, ITV seemed to be there first. Sound then on Sky and finally News 24.Edit: I mean on covering the Tony Blair press conference.

OK, ladies and gentlemen, it's happened-he's been captured-Praise the Lord, Hallelujah and all that-now can we PLEASE get back to normal programmes, or is this going to be a situation like the war-programmes disrupted! At least the vast majority CARED about the war!

Well they do it every time Tim Henman approaches a tennis court at Wimbledon, so I don't think it would bother them that much.

When Laura Trevellian was reporting from no. 10, (at about 1.00) you could hear the ITV News reporter's voice. And when you flick over to ITV news, and flick back again, it all maked sence, and his voice was being merged!

Well they do it every time Tim Henman approaches a tennis court at Wimbledon, so I don't think it would bother them that much.
They didn't scrap a single regional news opt during Wimbledon this year at all - they were all moved to BBC2

Meaning Digital viewers can't get them.
And AFAIK some of the sub opts aren't possible on BBC2 analogue, so their work was totally wasted.
