Nik Gowing joins to BBC World saying that Hussein captured last night.

They use long ending title music like since war on iraq closing music but not that long anyway there was only breaking news and that world TAG as you will say if I'm using right term

Quite interesting. BBC TWO has broken away from News24 while BBC ONE has gone into Politics Show. The "News" element of the programme is being presented by Phillip Hayton. Presumably, the Presser that was due to start at 1200 has been delayed?

It'll be interesting to see if any more news programmes are added to the schedule today.

The Politics Show started as normal with the regional ident, although I bet its doubtful we'll actually get the regional bit today, especially as BBC2 has stopped their simulcast

I know Channel 4 and Five are controlled by ITN, but it is interesting that neither channel appear to be covering this BIG STORY.

ITV 1 is still continuing.. BBC 1's politics show seems to be more of a BBC News bulliten.
