News 24 just broadcasted on BBC One for a few minutes updating viewers on reports that Saddam has been captured. News 24 is now covering the story. There was no Reporters at 1030.

All news channels understandably following this story...

Indeed -- they used the nifty animating Breaking News slide just after the programme before 11am finished,

Just spotted a report flashed up on ITV1, but it was cut off by the scheduled programme Very Happy

Best thing for BBC1 to do today is to drop The Politics Show and replace it with a BBC News Special Report, as this news will eclipse all politics news today, and the news conference from Baghdad is on at 12pm when The Politics Show is on.

Ooo anyone seen the BBC 2's astons for the news.

Instead of saying BBC News 24 and time, it says BBC News and www.bbc.co.uk.

The News Channel has been playing out a Saddam obit package (by Robert Moore or James Mates?).

BBC 2's DOG looks good, it would be nice if now they've displayed it on terestrial they use it permenantly for the 1, 6, and 10 news

Sky are currently speaking with some of their correspondents with some file tapes/live pictures about Iraq being shown on screen in a split graphic.

The ITV News Channel seems to think that someone near Saddam "fingered" him - ah the joys of breaking news! Laughing

I am sorry RTS, I have read other posts where people have called you that and I though that was your name. I apologise if I am wrong and I hope there are no ill feelings.
