Such sad news about Richard and Judy

He's done radio work recently. Radio 2 I think maybe 5 Live as well

Yep, Richard Madeley has done fill-ins on both Radio 2 and 5Live... he was quite good judgeing by what I heard of him on the latter.

They've long made it clear that they're splitting up their on-screen partnership, Judy is iving up TV but I'm sure Richard has lots of stuff lined up.

Here's a thought... with 5Live moving to Manchester and needing a load of new presenters, I wonder if they'll soon be making a move back up there?

Noticed hidden in the middle of the report of them getting axed last year was that they'd be continuing to do their Book Club series, so I wonder if that'll keep a slot on Watch or whether they'll attempt it elsewhere.

They're has beens at this stage - 90s success story, we've moved on! They should never of left ITV.

Channel 4 had originally said that too before the Watch deal was announced. I suspect it's Judy that would like to do that. For Richard, I think he will end up on Radio, as well as Radio 2 and 5Live he was on LBC a few weeks ago so I think Radio is where he's headed.

To be fair, although the show hasn't done well they've managed to keep quite a high profile, the reports have continued throughout the shows poor ratings.

OK - so you dismiss them as has-beens, then (crap grammar aside) lament them leaving ITV.

TBH they shouldn't have left C4.

Judy's consumer show was We Can Work It Out , IIRC.

Richard presented Cluedo for a while, IIRC? He did indeed present on Radio 2 recently, filling in for Sarah Kennedy-- he did a good job IMO.

Did R&J quit the Channel 4 show-- or did Channel 4 axe it? Various papers have said one or the other.. If the former; it seemed a strange thing to do, to quit from a reasonably popular teatime show to great unknown.

I hope, as some reports indicate, the Bookclub continues in some form though.

They left it at the end of their contract. The plan was to give up totally but then UKTV persuaded them to do a show for them.

So what's happening now is just what was going to happen back in November

Read between the lines..I wouldn't say axed as much as a parting of ways. They had halved their air time because of Paul O'Grady.
