Modern artists do it a lot aswel. I once saw a large white piece of paper with a tiny dot in the middle on some art show, and they were giving it praise because It represented 'lonliness.' Give me a break.
I hate that. More complex pieces of modern art, I do quite like. But a few squiggles does not classify as art in my book, and people should not pay ££££££££s for something they can do themselves.
Sbectel is also carrying the new logo, which surprises me as it often fails even to show the correct month we're in.
From analogue, the promo endboards [dates are now bilingual so that solves that bit of effort] are in a similar box-on-the-right style ish, with some sort of owl in it [why] -- the new logo remains in the top left for promos and next slides. Chair ident was before BBLB, and looked better on screen but was underwhelming at best.
Break bumpers feature a form up of the logo before the break and disappearing of it after.
I cannot however capture from analogue, so that's pretty much the end of that.
Sorry all of these are so unbelievably boring and dull, they dont say 'Wales' to me. If i had to pick one i like it would be 'frisbees' because it kind of looks like a proper ident, just. 'Lights' looks an extremely boring rip-off of BBC1's 'Windows' ident. What have you done S4C~? Sorry, S4/C
