I just emailed the BBC Online Weather Centre to tell them about a typing error on the homepage. Under 'Weather Headlines', it said:

'Remainig cool with...'

I just got reply back which said:

'Thank you for your email

This has now ben corrected.

BBC Weather Centre'

Smile Oh dear!

Has anyone ever played the latest BBC Weather forcast (the last one broadcast on BBC One) Real Media file? They never get the timing right!

A couple of weeks ago, we saw 30 seconds of the bulletin and then over 2 minutes of the weather presenter packing away, turning off the blue-screen etc. etc. while 'Countryfile' was playing in the background. It must rate as one of the most time-out files ever. Don't the people who set up the automatic recording contact Presentation regarding when/duration of bulletin?

Cheers,
Asa

I know, I normally watch it just for that reason. The graphics are too small to watch in real player but the comedy value of the reports are normally quite high Smile

But you can't watch it at the moment:

'Owing to continuing technical problems we have temporarily removed the Real Video weather forecast from the site.

We hope to restore this service as soon as possible with improved video quality and more forecasts.

In the meantime we are sorry for any inconvenience caused by the removal of this service.'

Yes, I know, that's the point I'm trying to make. I didn't make the mistake, the Weather guy did.
