and when you think that all Chico really did was splash around in The Osbourne's pond and act like a crazy maniac.

Jeez, if its that easy to get a record deal, I wonder what would happen if I jumped in the Thames, wearing only my boxers, singing Daydream Believer? Nothing...except people thinking i'm a drunken idiot and a trip to the cop shop no less.

You could dress as a whale - that might get you more attention.

No, idiot, that's why I said he's probably recording. I meant hardly any TV appearances.

Then if you know he's busy recording why ask why he hasn't been around?. Idiot. Rolling Eyes

Him appearing on practically every TV show going the week after his win obviously isn't enough for some - That was far too long ago. Rolling Eyes Would a daily TV appearance help?

I heard it on Radio 1 this morning. It's awful but in an annoyingly catchy awful way. I don't think it's too late - It's destined for number 1.

Simon Cowell spoke of the X-Factor in an interview in the 'Sun' today. Louis & Sharron are signed up - apparently he didn't exactly have to twist their arms - plus he wants to add a fourth judge. He says everyone is meeting next week to discuss how to make the next series bigger. He wants to add a 14-18 category and wants a "much bigger venue"

Well when you look at the huge superdome that American Idol uses. I think the X Factor would benefit from a far larger studio.

I really hope I never hear Chico's new single, but sadly I think its unavoidable! Mad Bring back Black Lace or The Jive Bunny!

A big studio space was needed when the Eurovision Song Contest came to the UK back in 1998. They used the National Indoor Arena in Birmingham which was also host to the ITV show Gladiators in the 90's.

Even though it's number one, it only had sales of 51,000 which is very low for a one hit wonder, novelty record.

All number 1s except Shayne Ward so far this year (which is technically a 2005 song) have had sales ranging from 38 to 24 thousand. That makes Chico's first week sales the highest in ages.
