To be frank - NO.
Bob is our local weatherman not a Yorkshire weatherman/woman. I know that there are some on this forum who regulary extol the virtues of the above but they are not fit to lace Bob's corset
The alternatives don't seem to have a personality, they read the weather OK but it seems so false when they talk about "our" region.
One of the weather maps the other day even flashed from the North East to the Yorkshire map.
However perhaps that is the future for "Granada North East"

You would think that they are, but I am sure I've heard them mention Cheshire and Lancashire from time to time. But who can complain of having Jo Blythe? Before we had the IVC weather, it was just read out by Jon Mitchell and it was rather dull.

You would think that they are, but I am sure I've heard them mention Cheshire and Lancashire from time to time. But who can complain of having Jo Blythe? Before we had the IVC weather, it was just read out by Jon Mitchell and it was rather dull.

Bob usually takes 4 weeks off in November, he did the same last year.
I actually like most of the Leeds team and I certainly don't complain when Jo Blythe is on! I quite like Jon Mitchell as well, to be honest.
Nevertheless I agree that Bob is the top weather geezer! I like his guess the village feature at the end!
