Interestingly only 3 networks are allowed into the execution witness box.
There are 7 spaces for the media.
1 for the AP, Associated Press
2 For local papers
3 from the TV networks
and 1 from another wire service, I presume Reuters.
I presume the tv networks allowed in are NBC, CBS and ABC.
Must be a big blow to CNN and Fox, CNN especially considering the fact that they pride themselves on covering such huge events as this.
I suppose this is where we are lucky in only have 3 tv news networks!

the networks will pool the reports, and the coverage, so CNN and FOX won't miss out....
There is a system set up between the networks for these kind of situations...
Yes but you will not see anyone from CNN and Fox witness the execution, whereas ABC, CBS and NBC will have correspondents to discuss the situation.
I doubt very much whether any of the ABC - CBS and NBC correspondents will be making any appearances on CNN or Fox, if it means the others 3 networks get such exclusives then why would they simply want to give away their coverage?
The networks may well pool cameras, like we do for elections over here, but they wont be pooling correspondents... and considering there are only 3 correspondents witnessing the execution they will most likely be tied up with their own network for the rest of the evening.... it isn't going to be one huge presentation all contributed to by each network... i.e. one big programme that is put out across ABC, CBS, CNN, Fos, NBC and PBS - that wont happen.

CNN and FOX will just nab the AP reporter, that's what they pay the AP for!
But the AP, and the Reuters reporters will be doing work for.... The Ap and Reuters.
They will have to prepare reports for their own services before they even consider going onto another.
They wont miss out, but the others will have it before them.

Pool arrangements are set-up whereby the members of it HAVE TO contribute to all the members (ie those in this case who don't see the execution)
The last major pooling operation (apart from GE01) was Kosovo, that though broke down within hours as a farce, since the reporters with the British Forces were beaten into Kosovo & most importantly Pristina by other correspondents, most famously Jeremy Thompson & Tim Marshall (who actually greeted the troops to Pristina). For the newspapers though the arrangement worked better, with the papers carrying their rivals' bylines.
