Just after Soapstar Superstar tonight, we had an ECP with two programmes being advertised for 11pm! As if that wasn't bad enough, the announcer even said it twice! You'd think she would have noticed!
Whatever maladies network presentation has, I can guarantee you will actually coil up in pain when you hear the UTV jingle being played on A CRAPPY KEYBOARD over a shot of A SHEEP DOING.... NOTHING!

Oh come on, the "ident" which is a picture of some weeds is worse than the sheep.
Ok, I'm going to make a rare attempt at being fair here...
It's unforgivable. I don't know if the same person compiled the ECP and read it out. if it was a different person - well perhaps they should have checked it first before it went out. And I knew UTV makes millions of mistakes on a daily basis.
But having spotted a problem on the ECP while half way through reading it (and you could hear a stall half way through reading out the second programme), I suppose it's better than collapsing and admitting there's a mistake. It's probably not very professional, but it may be best to plough on and hope no-one notices.
Having just run this VT past two people in my house, one only got it on the third time of watching, and the other one had to have it pointed out. Now I'm not intending to be too insulting to ITV viewers (especially Soapstar Superstar ones), but how many will have been watching the ECP avidly?
I dunno - it seems sloppy. Is it possibly there was a draft version put together and a corrected one, and they put the wrong one out? Or am I being far too charitable? (for once)
Small World Big Island sounded like a promising programme: "Documentary filmmaker and painter Ken Warren takes an artistic and quirky look at a variety of themes and topics inspired by the people and places throughout the counties of Northern Ireland. This week he focuses on Co Antrim.". I even set the PVR to record it. Of course, I should've known better...
As someone who also saw the end of this 10p budget of a camcorder show asked me: "Do you think Ken Warren Productions' world HQ is his garage?"
In actual fact they got the name of it wrong as well on their ECP. The programme was actually called "Small World Big Island
s
". Plural, not singular!
