My guess is Mark Pougatch will pretend the quarter finals in Oita (England v Australia, Wales v France) and Jill Douglas will do the ones in Tokyo (New Zealand v Ireland, Japan v South Africa)

And then everyone will head to Tokyo for the semi finals and the final

Loving the stadium studio they have in Tokyo.

Seems the split Millionaire preventing ITV Wales showing highlights at 8pm as usual. They really should bump the Meghan doc to after the news (or another night) so the HLs aren't at 11.35pm, or even better drop the 94th showing of Harry Potter to reshow the match in full.

Great ratings in Japan too - 54m for their last match, nearly 50% of the population. That's comparable to the Opening Ceremony of London 2012 here.

Is it me or is the "SPORT" part of their logo on their tabletop in Arial Rounded ?

It looks it. What reasons would cause that? An error, unable to get the reem font for the transfer or reusing part of another set?

Great coverage of this tournament from ITV - definitely benefitting from having a team in place for regular live rugby and also doing some great pieces about how rugby can impact beyond the sport too, notably with Gareth Thomas yesterday and Bryan Habana this week on the wider ramifications of success for South Africa, who has proven to be an excellent pu dit over the last year on C4 and during the World Cup for ITV, and a joy to watch today.

I'm guessing whoever CNC'd the tabletop didn't have the font on their computer.

But if you've sent the "itv" part over as a vector, surely you'd just include the "sport" part in the same file? It's an odd one really, but numerous reasons why the mistake might have happened.
