There's a very obvious edit in that video. The portion from ITV2 looks like it's been added over / edited to join the non-DOGged bit before it. Which indicates that the person who taped this match didn't tape the end (probably due to the overrun) and that the match was rebroadcast as-live on ITV2 later in the day at primetime - the match was on morning / lunchtime UK time due to being in Australia, so they added it on the end before uploading to YT.
As mentioned above, in 2003 (that's 12 years ago dude - were you even born then?) ITV2 and even ITN News showed live sport such as Champions League matches because ITV only had two channels. Now it has four it can spread its portfolios out a bit more. Since its launch, ITV4 has always been and will continue to be the place for sport and overspill sport, not ITV2. Get over it.

Even worse, in 1999 some games were on ITV2 in the days before barely anybody could get it. In 2003 there was at least one England breakfast time kick off that was on 2, and I even remember an England match going on ITV4 displaced by a football international in 2007.
