YTV's Live Lunch magazine programme was given a Christmas feel today.

There were numerous white christmas trees on the set.

Plus, the Live Lunch opening/closing/welcome back/back soon titles have all been christmas-ized.

The titles are as usual, but with added snow effects!

(Available on SKY Digital 'ITV Yorkshire' 1.10-1.40pm weekdays)

Calendar have also put their Christmas tree up, but can only be seen in the wide shot at the start!
Plus a very festive competition to win a Harry Potter Lego Castle in tonight's edition

Thanks for that but I think you should change your sig from saying 'Other channels number 2-7' as they have now changed to ITVYorkshire as you said.

And was the 'H' in RTVCC in the topic a mistake?http://web.ukonline.co.uk/tv.home/forum/emoticons/biggrin.gif

And is it true there will be no Christmas bulletins on Christmas day?

I am confused about this RTVCC business.  I posted about the Calendar Christmas tree in the main thread.  Are we supposed to post in there, or the specific thread about our region ?

For those who missed it in the other thread, here it is

Well unless they move that tree, it seems a waste of time.

Also, I wonder if they have the technology to put any christmas decorations up in the CSO Short Bulletin studios, what would look suitable...?

Finally, some falling snow over the Calendar/Calendar News endcaps would look a treat.

I'm sure Mike has been through worse!

Christmas (or New Year's Eve to be precise) 1992, he lost his job of about 8 years standing, when TV-AM closed down!

And GMTV didn't want him, but did take his co-presenter (Lorraine Kelly)

The end of tonight's Calendar was festive.

A special festive endcap was used, and Christine and Mike exchanged presents.

There was also a quick 'Calendar Christmas' graphic used at about 6.20pm.

Calendar's GMTV presenter Faye Barker is in panto, and a report showed her performing, and all her Calendar collegues watching from the Circle!

And, Debbie Lindley wore a Santas Hat for the YTV Weather, a treat normally only reserved for Xmas Day itself!
