Unlikely but worth a try.

Does anybody have or know where to find the theme music to RTE News bulletins? I realise not many members live in Ireland but someone may know.

Ahem...you could try the RTÉ ONE section on a certain website.

Thanks Mike, I've already got your RealMedia files but would prefer mp3s if anyone knows of any...

I'm currently hosting a poor edit (by my standards) for the 9 o'clock news form RTE.

I think its quite good - dramatic, nice tune! Still doesn't beat BBC NEWS though.

If you receive Tara, anyone (like I do), you will get all the RTE news bulletins.

I love the music actually - better than the BBC's offering,

I think RTÉ News' music is great. Granted. It's not as good as the BBC's but I think it is very dramatic and authoritative. I also liked the music for the RTÉ One idents from 1997-200 - but their current idents are good too.

Sorry - I forgot the accent on RTÉ!

I just checked out the RTE website (i'm not even going to bother with the accent!)and found a couple of cool things:

1.  The news website goes by a day-by-day basis and has a long archive(for the attack on america go to www.rte.ie/news/2001/0911)

2.  It gives all the headlines but on the right hand side you can choose a news programme to watch from that day.

I think it looks cool! Sky and bbc should do the same ! Try it out and tell us what do you think!
