I wasn't defeated. I didn't copy it off you. Give it up.

I was intrigued by what you said, so I looked it up, as you said, on google. I thought it would be good to check, and if it is true, link it up to here. You beat me too it. Big deal. But your inflated personality with "insider" info, makes you think a 2 minute difference means I copied you. Also, you knew where that site, was, and I didn't, so you had the advantage. If you don't belive me, and you call me a liar, your loss. I think you just can't deal with somebody else finding something else that would improve your "credibility".

Back to RTE, From those tiny pictures they look quite nice, but I'm still leery about them.

Really, get over defeat on this one.

I don't think he's been defeated. YOu still got hte dates wrong and you said

Quote:
Insider info (lol):
- They filmed some footage of a woman making bread
- They filmed some footage of a teenager looking for their stuff under their bed and
- They filmed some footage of a kid painting/drawing on a wall.

So we'll see, but none of those pictures look like what you said they were filming according to "inside info" neither do the types of things they were filming "express the true heritage and values of Ireland as well as a modern and dynamic European country for RTÉ One. "

We shall see......

Will everyone including 'superdudeman007' kindly stop arguing between yourselves over who has been "defeated". This thread is intended for discussion relating to RTÉ.

For reference I have locked the two recently setup threads connected to the relaunch as this thread appears to be already covering things.

Well we've only seen images of 5 out of 12 idents, all except 2 of them fairly blurry. Also the "So Much To Offer" and "Part Of Life" films are just glorified ads for RTE that don't reflect anything.

The footage I was talking about was filmed in a house in Greystones by Cian de Buitléar from RTE - His father Éamon does all those nature shows on TG4.

Anyway, we all know RTE monitor threads before their relaunches and new shows - a guy on boards.ie was talking about his idea for a reality show and suddenly it became a segment on Seoige and O'Shea. I bet they saw my posts re Red Bee and thought "We're screwed". Just wait til November 3.

(Also I was told late October by the team that made the footage - it's hard to miss a film crew ging into a neighbour's house while they're away. Either way I was out by 3 days)

Ahhh, RED BEE strike again with another earth-shattering set of idents and the same ridiculous marketing double-speak about the fact that they have sent someone out with a camcorder and then slappped a logo on top of it.

Who in their right mind would pay these people? This lot for RTE look no better than ITV1's. The only decent ones they've produced so far are for BBC ONE.

I'm not suprised BBC One got better idents, afterall wasn't Red Bee formerly known as a BBC company?

I agree. Who would want to pay someone over thousands of pounds to get their camcorders to film someone blowdrying their hair or pigs eating their own shi t?

I don't like Red Bee's work that much because it's bland, boring and not inspiring. I'm glad STV and UTVs idents aren't designed by them, they're exciting, watchable and they actually make sense.

It was formally part of the BBC, but that's got nothing to do with it.
