Perhaps to justify the money spent on the space?

It was on a street corner with Lucrezia Millarini standing on a box!

No! Surely not 2 whole days of 'syrupy hogwash' before the actual thing? What mindless drivel can they fill that amount of time with. Shocked

Where does it say two whole days of constant coverage starting Thursday on that caption?

It'll be constant on Saturday morning/afternoon.
Less so in the two days before.

Looks like NBC got a decent spot. Appears they setup on rooftops and are less than a block away.

Remind me again who presents Afternoon Live and said person's opinion on such royal events?

Oh here’s a better video showing how close NBC is.

It’s coming from an NBC Washington anchor. I wonder if there’s any word on whether they are building the “Hollywood Squares” on the roof for affiliates.

I imagine they got spaces further back as well.

In Spanish in the US Telemundo is airing coverage from 5-9AM and repeats until 1PM and Univision runs from 5-10AM and at 10AM they transition to E/I fare (even though they likely could get a dispensation as it’s a news event).

BBC Breakfast is apparently from Windsor on Friday, so there is 3:15 hours of drivel

He didn't go to the Lindo wing this time round, so has been 'rewarded' by providing NC coverage of the wedding.

He used to be Sky's Royal Correspondent. I'm not sure that his bemusement with hours of rolling coverage of sod all happenning being reported from the wrong place can be extrapolated to a lack of interest in reporting royal issues.

More Royal padding on ITV News London this evening. Lucrezia Millarini back on a street corner in Windsor talking to foreign journalists.
