CBS is based it at a hotel. I forget the name. It was a large suite the studio and the bathrooms the audio booth is in the shower.
ABC is at the end of the long walk.
MSNBC is at a different local.
NBC has really got a fantastic spot with an amazing view.
ABC's location isn't as good - you can barely see Windsor Castle in the distance. Looks like they're in the same area on the long walk as a lot of other broadcasters, although the positive is that I believe the procession will go right past after the ceremony.
NBC’s studio looks ridiculously over the top on the skyline though
How do the ratings pan out for an event like this in America, we know here the BBC take 75% of viewers for big events regardless, ITV far behind despite often providing just as good coverage, Sky get a very tiny audience, but in America do multiple channels take an even split of the viewers, or is one by far out in front?
NBC did look good today with the weather on their side. From the picture posted by their PR team you can see a few other temporary studios at a lower height.
The national broadcaster, funded by the TVL, is selling a broadcast it won't transmit to the people paying for it? You see no problem with that?
So you're suggesting the BBC is getting nothing in return for providing 4k pictures?
I'm suggesting the Licence-payer isn't!
It annoys me when people think that paying a flat fee entitles them to everything - like those that say they should have access to the entire BBC archive because they paid for it. No, you didn’t.
Do the BBC have any news or programme set ups apart from The One Show decamped at Windsor for The Royal Wedding. I assume BBC One will have a set up with Huw Edwards being the main presenter for it's main coverage tomorrow?
Looks like CNNi and CNN US will be simulcasting as Max Foster and Isha Sesay are part of the presentation team tomorrow, along with the likes of Anderson Cooper and Alisyn Camerota from CNN US.

Last time NBC won total viewers. Across 11 networks the viewership was 22.6 million.
On my phone and I have trouble editing. NBC is using 4K Panasonic* Studio cameras for this as well. There is no distribution I know of but I suppose it's possible they are filming their own stuff and buying the 4K footage for archival as well.
*The entire newsgroup standardized on Panasonics for field use. I think the reasoning at the time was that it recorded on cards rather than XDCAM discs.
Also will BBC One provide opts to the regions outside of the ceremony portion?
