Yes, but to restore the missing multiplex an add channels should suffice, without the risk of losing anything else. (My aunt had done the full scan earlier)

There's lots of people with problems, the BBC mux and Mux C have moved to UHF Ch 34, and 37. Ch 37 is out of range of older Group A aerials, and Ch 34 is right at the end of the band of those older aerials. Digital Spy and Usenet are full of posts with people now without those two muxes.
