I doubt there will be another series, as it was based on a book, and so the whole story has been made.

Actually, Philip, there could be a second series involving the same characters. The novel of the Rotters Club doesn't really have a proper ending, just an explanation that the story will be continued and concluded in a subsequent novel called The Closed Circle, which has now been written and published. Must get around to reading it.

Didn't do well in the ratings, but this isn't ITV1, so there well could be a second series.
