Reading BBC News website, I came across an article about the anger at Jonathan Ross when he said "Do you think we should put something in the water supply, stop some people having children in the future?" to which he was referring to people on council estates.

But then they have a poll which says that 83% of people agree that he should have been able to say these things. So what do you think?

"Some 61 viewers had complained to the BBC by Sunday evening."
Did it take till Sunday evening for them to understand what Ross was saying then?

In what context did he say these remarks?! It sounds like a typical flippant Wossy remark to me. The abbreviation SOHF comes to mind (sense of humour failure Wink )

If these remarks were made on on his radio or TV show, 61 complaints isn't that much considering how many millions of people tune into his shows Confused

I work with kids so he may have a point.

Don't think we should sterilise parents, just teach them than feeding you kid on a diet of muck-Donald's, violent computer games and constant shouting is not going to produce a well rounded individual by the time they leave secondary school.

I've worked with kids from quite affluent areas who are dragged up and kids from deprived areas who are well brought up

It was a throw away, tongue in cheek, comment in last weeks TV show. It has obviously taken the tabloids a few days to stir up an outrage.

I'm more amazed that no one has picked up this week, on his implication that the Queen wanted to give him a blow job!
