Did there use the full theme?

No, they didn't use the original theme at all. Probably some kind of copyright/royalties issue - a bit of a shame.

What a great man and a wonderful programme this was. It was years ahead of its time, like Rogue Traders or Donal Macintyre but on a much more ambitious and dangerous scale.

I don't know how Cook kept his nerve and composure in some of those situations. It must have been terrifying for him.

Noticed another touch of TV 'fakery' though - when the villiain on the Costa Del Sol hurled a white thing at Cook there was a loud exaggerated sound of breaking glass - clearly added in post-production, as they made the mistake of playing the clip later on with identical audio but without the breaking glass sound.

"I'm not going to shoot that lion." What a great line that was, the guy didn't know where on earth to put himself, but as we saw that programme didn't amount to much as it still continues.

He definately did say "Yorkshire TV" in those clips at the start of the programme.

I understand that the standard 30 minute programme was a Central production. However, when the series run ended, and came back as "one off specials", these were produced by Yorkshire TV.

Didn't some of the shows get 'produced' under the Carlton Television era?

Could've sworn he said 'I'm Roger Cook from Carlton Television' at some point during the original run?
(Then again I wasn't a regular viewer!)
