Robot Wars!

Hi all!
I heard that Robot Wars was losing ratings so BBC TWO/BBC THREE axed it!
I don't think axeing it was the right choice, admittidley it wasn't as good as it was. Look at Series 1-3 (Jeremy Clarkson/Craig Charles) they had all different games and obstacles that the robots had to avoid, it was really good But recently it has been sh*t, SOOOOOOO boring, no games just robots fighting ALL episode . I think thats why it has lost ratings.
Anyway, Five has taken it over and by the advert I saw for it Craig said roughly "the only difference is that we have changed channels". Dont they realise that we find it boring , I reckon it'll be axed after Series 1 on Five. Anyone else think so?????????

Series 1-3 when the robots did diferent games etc I watched and enjoyed. When it all changed and it was just fighting I gave up on it. Its now a very boring show and I hated BBC CHOICE for showing it at 7:30 EVERY weekday night.

Not too sure why FIVE have decided to bring it back after the BBC got rid. Anyway, its fives money wasted if it flops.

BTW - Can the BBC still show any of the series that have already been made? If it did go head to head with five, it would be funny if BBC Two old eps got more viewers!

Well the new series starts tonight with Craig Charles being joined by Jayne Middlemiss, and a new house robot at 7pm on five.

Did the BBC get rid of it, or did five poach it from them?

Well, I've seen almost all of it!

It is EXACTLY the same as Series 6 on BBC TWO execpt with ads!
-DULL and BORING!!!
-Just a load of Robots fighting in EVERY round!!!
-No new features execpt the World Championship Round (2 foreign Robots compete)
-No Games

The ONLY new thing is that new girl in the pitts and adverts!!!!!!!
Interestingly as RW go into the break ther is a RW logo! Not with the 5 text or logo!

The five logo and text to the right on an image only features on programmes that don't provide break captions, usually imports. If five asked robot wars to add them, they would. As do all of the other commisions of five. It's programmes like CSI, Home & Away & Law & Order that don't.
