Robin Hood To Make a TV Comeback

Jane Tranter, BBC Drama Commissioner is said to have ordered a brand new series of Robin Hood Adventures for broadcast on BBC1 on Saturday evenings at 7pm. She acknowledges that it has been done in the past, but there is always room for reworkings of classic stories. Probably follow on from the second series of Doctor Who (which the first series began a repeat showing on BBC3 tonight from the beginning).

I'm doubtful that it will work. What I would like to see though is a new series of maid marian and her merry men.
