Possibly the worst post I've ever seen!

(I'll apologise now if you have some kind of affliction which makes you unable to spell correctly!)

Thsi is just because ITV have nothing else to put on since Paul O'Grady moved to Channel 4.

I notice the one listing refered to the pilot episode 'Rooksby' !

I thought all transmitted episodes refered to 'Rigsby' ?

(I know he was originally called Rooksby though !)

so ITV have completely ran out of ideas and are now shipping programmes from ITV3 to ITV1. I know that some programmes are worth repeating but 90 minutes worth each day - pitiful. ITV has no imagination whatsoever.

I must admit, though, ITV do not tend to show their classic comedy series, which of some I do still enjoy when they are shown - so that is about the only best bit of the 90 minute ITV3 on ITV1 segment I am looking forward to.

the 90 minute filler (until the more decent rubbish hits our screen) could have looked like...... (classic comedies are my own preferred personal best!)

Monday: -
1630 Rising Damp (I honestly don't mid this repeat as it was quite good when I was a kid!)
1700 CD:UK

Tuesday:-
1630 Only When I Laugh (another classic half-decent ITV Comedy)
1700 Everwood

Wednesday:-
1630 Duty Free
1700 The Guide (best of the weeks videos, TV, Gigs, films, etc...)

Thursday:-
1630 On The Buses
1700 Everwood

Friday:-
1630 Mind Your Language
1700 Regional Sports Programmes (bit like regional variations of Soccer Night)

4.30 is a new slot, nothing to do with Paul O'Grady. He was on at 5.00

Fine if you want to buy the DVD and watch it, but you can't put this on TV these days.

I think ITV1 are safe putting that on at 4.30pm, no one is watching anyway! Laughing

I even used to watch it when they repeated it on Saturday afternoon - when they first dropped World Of Sport!!! Definitely one of my favourite comedies, when I was a child!!!!

I wish ITV would bring back World Of Sport - as an alternative to the rubbish they have on Saturday Afternoon at the moment. Granada did an alternative sports show for about 18 months during the early 1990's which included Rugby League, on-screen goal flashes (first UK TV company to do such a thing!), WCW Wrestling and even a "Final-score segment" and it wasn't too bad - only drawback was the presenter - Elton Welsby!!!!

Are they showing the best of ITV3 in the 4.30pm to 6.00pm slot at the moment? As all we've had are repeats so far, with Wycliffe being the first, now Rising Damp...both of which have been shown on ITV3 before.

I hope Never The Twain is next....Laughing
