GMTV pulled off a coup - he appeared on that instead.

Oh yes, he was on GM-TV that Monday, but as all the others have been around for more than just one day, even John, Ray and Lisa appeared on RI:SE this morning, that's a week and a half after the final, I would have thought Cameron would have been on by now!!

God - are they still on it!!! I watched the first one after the final and expected that to be the last of them.

And Jon is supposed to be shunning the media - he's back at work on Monday. Then again, it is RI:SE he is appearing on - the fastest route to obscurity.

RI:SE needs an overhaul; create some features; even though it was shorter the war helped RI:SE as they were able to get rid of rubbish parts like 'TEXTECUTION' game and create new short things like the stunt thing with Caprice! And the world's wierd news thing. Dont know whether either are still around. Last time I watched it was mostly Big Brother.

Do what This Morning did, get new people to do items and change the show!

Our television systems seem to have a Design many Inferiority. The fact
that those television, which can buy your people, propel you in the early
morning into a Graveyard of the terrible breakfast programming with
prepared famousnesses. If this Mrs. Kate a traveler is sex giver, their
condition was conveyed and so interepreted. Is there a relationship of
the high intensity, which will transfer in the television, enclosure the
original creation of the sexual acts with van? If so, someone can
manufacture a highway or possibly even a satellite distance, in
order to experience such early erotic pleasures - particularly
surprising, regarding the early morning television time, which
accept this transmission. Fortunately for me, my brother at the
work would see over our farm of the pigs mine Organrubbing
would be, as, such a transmission observing.

Did anyone understand any of that, or is it just me?

I think he's feeling erotic pleasures! Laughing

Just kidding!

Indeed. A complete rethink of the programme's remit is required. The appointment of Kate Lawler was symptomatic of the show's loss of direction, assuming it had a clear direction to start with, which is debatable. It simply wasn't thought through thoroughly enough.

Iain Lee is sharp and probably right for the show, but an intelligent Lisa Tarbuck style female is required to match him. I quite like Zora Suleman despite her penchant for displaying her decolletage, and she suits this style of short, lightish news bulletin.

Fame Academy has taken over from Big Brother as topic of choice, but how short sighted is this policy? When it ends, what next? It's no good relying on other programmes to bolster one's own.

And what's with having Tickle et al previewing the night's telly? "EastEnders has a good storyline at the moment..." Yawn. Bring in a pungent critic like Ian Hyland, or let's even resurrect Nina Myskow. Anything for some controversy, some bite.

They should be thinking along the lines of what worked for the Big Breakfast, and applying their own slant. For example, Wayne Hemingway was always good value on that show. Can't they uncover their own quirky "experts" and base regular features around them?

I disagree with the earlier comment about Dougie Anderson, by the way. He has an engaging personality, but is overly self aware, as were Edith Bowman and Mark Durden Smith.

They afford can be short sighted. It's not as if they've got long left.

Absolutely. The TV "review" section is a joke, the same programmes always seem to appear. Is someone at EastEnders slipping the ex-BB housemates a tenner a day or something?!??

Does anyone know when Mel & Sue are due back? The more I watch Miss Lawler the more she winds me up.

I think Zora would be a cracking main presenter, personally. She seems intelligent and oozes sex appeal, plus she has very good presenting skills. I can't fault her style at delivering the news.

Personally I found Iain extremely extremely annoying, Dougie comes over as being really friendly down to earth and personable, Iain comes across as a bit of an idiot to be honest!!!! Theres definetly good chemistry between him and Kate aswell,

The show's definetly improving though, just please stop the big brother stuff (and why Jon Tickle!? He's the most boring person on earth!)

Fame Academy is the subject of choice is it? I think you'll find it's FA and Pop Idol in equal measure, or at least it will as of Monday!

Re: Cameron Stout, he was being filmed throughout the first week for The Winner's Story - which even showed him with Gos in Chicago. Check the BB website http://www.channel4.com/bigbrother to find out what he's been up to since.

Any future Big Brother talk should go in that thread, eh? Even if it does need bumping up a page!

I Think that if the first show of the revamp was as good as the shows are now then I think it would have picked up viewers. I think the problem with the "new" show was that it had Edith and Dougie there; I think they should have completely new presenters. When Mel and Sue come back if would like them presenting along side Iain and Kate. Like getting involved in the paper review and stuff, maybe even have like Iain and Sue going off and interviewing someone and then going over to Kate and Mel. I also think that Zora should be more involved in the show and slot she could do is the old RI:SE guides that tell us all we need to know on a subject.
