I used to enjoy listening to Tim on I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue. I've also got The Goodies on DVD, and enjoyed their silliness.

Sad news. Just old enough to remember The Goodies' LWT series but too young to remember them on the BBC. Did the BBC shows ever get much of a repeat outing? Hopefully one or two will be brought off the shelf as a tribute.

I was shocked to learn that Tim was almost 80! I’d never have guessed that.

My favourite “Goodie” by a long way.

Very sad news indeed. I think a goodies episode was shown by the BBC to coincide with the Olympics.

I will always remember him as one of the members of "I'm Sorry I'll Read That Again". Great stuff.

RIP Tim.
I first saw the Goodies around 10 years ago when BBC Two repeated them each night over Christmas as part of a late night comedy strand, very talented and very entertaining.

In recent years I have enjoyed his quips and stories on ‘I’m sorry I haven’t a clue’ that has brought much merriment on many a journey.

Always great on I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue, ironically he was the only one of the 3 regular panelists that hadn't been off through illness in the last couple of years.

TV wise I first remember him from the LWT sitcom Me and My Girl, oddly enough though he popped up on ITV just this afternoon as he is in the film Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory.
