For goodness sake, why are people still posting in this thread? I wouldn't mind, but it's so old, not to mention the fact that the title "What will happen when Richard Whiteley dies?" is complete trivia. I'll tell you what will happen when I die - you lot won't have to put up with my posts!

The last time I saw him presenting a television programme, he was working alongside Austin Mitchell. He seemed OK then! Austin seems very well, particularly now that the Labour party appears to be re-discovering its Euro scepticism from the 1980's
