Was reading at the weekend that Denise Welch (Natalie from Corrie) has landed the This Morning gig, this is definite, contracts have been signed I understand. This seems reasonable to me, I quite like her. Her partner has not yet been confirmed, rumoured to be John Leslie. Oh I do hope not.

Granada TV are still considering who will replace Richard and Judy. They've approached loads of people including a Sky presenter but NO definite yes to anyone.
Also, Fern Britton - who's expecting her 4th child in August - has confirmed she will only do part time work so she's no longer in the running, although she was the favourite to take over.

I nearly choked when I read that Teletext article, to think they are even considering Bob Friend ? He's 63, and I really can't really see him doing items on fashion and hair and listening to womens problems.
Good to see John Leslie has been ruled out for being too 'light entertainment'.
