People used to moan about the pace of This Morning for rushing through the items, but this was at lightning pace. Richard was being pathetic when they were having technical problems during the phone-in by saying 'Well it is our first show !' The Amanda Holden / Les Dennis interview was cringingly bad.
Yes, I'd sooner watch The People Versus / Night & Day & Crossroads than this rubbish.

I would have thought 6pm would be a better time to show R & J, Late Lunch with Mel & Sue did well at that time! I mean who's home at 5pm of a weekday evening?

Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan's new TV comeback on Channel 4 has been beaten by The Weakest Link on BBC One, unofficial overnight figures indicate.
After spending 13 years presenting ITV's weekday magazine programme This Morning, the couple's new project for Channel 4, called Richard and Judy, was aired for the first time in its daily 5pm slot.
However despite pulling in a respectable 2.5m when the show first went to air, the viewing figures dwindled to 1.7m by the time it finished, while BBC 2's The Weakest Link increased its share from 3.3m to 5.3m.
Channel 4's head of daytime TV, Jo McGrath, said: 'I am pleased of course.

Sad to see the media rubbishing the show before its practically started.
This is what happens on TV these days.
- Channel starts long-awaited much-promoted new programme
- New show gets beaten by long-established show on other side
- 'The Millennium Dome' effect occurs, when it becomes un-cool to watch said programme, due to critics comments
- Said programme gets axed, and replaced by old nonsense.
See also Shafted, The Premiership, it was almost happening to Crossroads too....
