I meant it should go back to what it was when it started- it was less predictable and was a new type of show, so should now have lots of new ideas rather than churning out the same stuff week in week out

How many times can you get a laugh out of Windy Miller.

I thought the original plan was 6 months each?

I definately think The Organ Game should be ditched in favour of something else along those lines.

The show is very predictable

How many times can Buster walk off and Paul say "Go play in the Blue Peter Garden....But don't dig Shep up"

I know what you mean, I think Paul's show should go back to what it was like when it first started,

It is the same as what it was when it first started. That's the problem - the show is so tired and predictable. As annoying as Richard is the show has a good mix and works well. Sadly though they're really not getting a fair ride out of this deal. No sooner has the series started it's over.

Well, I don't think they're complaining at getting the same salary for half the work!

It seems to be the same with both shows - when one is on you're waiting for the other to return, and vice versa.

I do think Richard and Judy is more suited to longer run series than Paul O'Grady, however annoying Richard can be.

In Paul's case though, perhaps rather than two 12-week series a year they'd be better off with three 8-part series a year - as by about half way through a series even for the most dedicated fan it must get tiresome.

The show definately needs alot of fine tuning though - certainly changing the competition and replacing some of the regulars - plus a less repetitive guest list.

Not for me. I'm dreading Paul's return and I have thoroughly enjoyed this series of Richard and Judy.

I don;t know why some people don't like this programme but Richard and Judy is the best out of all the show like this because its got so many different slots from one extreme to another, so every show is different and is never boring

and its better with out the competition

As somebody said earlier they could do more e-mails instead of the Organ Game.

I'm also a big fan of POG, but some of his lines are starting to get tired. At first the predictability of the show added to its charm, but the in-jokes are starting to tire now ("I'm naturally this colour-- its not grey et al" and "if I want you opinion I'll slap it out of you" etc).

The reason R&J remains fresh is that it has a topical/journalistic strand to it, so naturally some of the content will vary each day. Much better without the You Say We Delay (sic) section now!

All in all, I like both shows in equal measure, so the rotation system works well for me. Even if do think Richard Madeley hypes the crappest of things up, interrupts guests and has a severe case of logorrhoea Wink

When R&J were on C4 all the time, I ended up getting a bit fed up of them. I enjoyed POG on C4 to begin with, but seeing this latest series of R&J has made me realise that I much prefer R&J. It is a lot more engaging and stimulating and I like the fact that they have a mixture of entertainment, arts, culture as well as topical discussions of stories in the news. On POG, it is just the same practically every night - 2 guests separated by stupid items/games. All in all, I can't wait for R&J to return in June.

I agree with most of what you say. However I think they are trying to be careful not make the two shows alike-- although POG Show needs overhauling.
