Did anybody see this? It was very funny, Tony Blair playing You Say We Pay. His face was a picture when the contestant said that John Whatshisface appeared on Big Brother and picked his nose a lot. I feel they should have gave her an extra thousand quid though, because they were slowing her down by laughing and pointing at Tony and whispering the answers to him.
It was the oddest bit of TV I've seen for a while. One of those regular Richard & Judy items that is just on that edge between very naff and brilliant (see The Ali G impression and the Little Britain sketch)
Thought he came over quite well in the interview though
I only saw it for a couple of minutes, problem is you never know what you are going to get, when the did a Lou and Andy sketch last year when Lucas and Walliams were on the show, was very embarassing, but they all knew it was bad.
The best moment for them last year was when they were interviewing Former President Bill Clinton and Richard was comparing his incident about the time when people accused him of stealing and Bill Clinton's affair with Monica Lewinsky.
The thing with Richard is, he always brings back to him and his life. He doesn't care about many of the guests or what they have to say. I feel so sorry for Judy who can never get a word in edgeways. I bet she was relieved to play YSWP with Tony. She was actually able to speak without being interupted...by Richard. Or criticised on a stupid answer...by Richard.
Richard knows what he's like and knows it makes a good arguement. I think he was a little lost when he interviewed Ricky Gervais though. He soon went all shy with him!
