I have seen that Richard and Judy will be back on Tuesday 13th January 2009 on Watch.

It seems a few changes might be in store after their dreadful start to their new show back in autumn 2008.

The show will now be at 6pm on weeknights and according to my Sky EPG, the "New Position" title has been dropped and they have reverted back to simply calling it Richard and Judy.

I wonder if there will be any other changes e.g. bringing the show back live instead of pre-recorded?

6pm should be a much better slot for them, but I doubt figures will rise that much. Also the Tuesday to Friday slot seems odd - surely it makes more sense to air Monday to Thursday, with the "best of" episode on the Friday.

6pm works for me (actually 7pm on the +1). It was getting a bit of a pain trying to remember what night the show was from with the repeat being a day later. By the Monday/Tuesday I could never remember which was the "highlights" show.

Anyhoo, as I've said before its a great show. I hope they don't make any other changes.

It is good, and I would say it maybe needs more promotion - but nothing else.

I haven't spoken to anyone who says they don't like it after watching - so yes, perhaps cross channel promos, buses and billboards may help others find it.

That's a lot of money to spend, though. Given their high audience retention I would say it was worth a punt - but then its not my budget.

Whether they find more viewers or not, personally I'm glad Madeley is out of sight.

The only thing they needed to change was the hideous set, title sequence and music. The content was mostly fine, it just looked rubbish

I would like to see a better set, something a bit similar to their Channel Four set.

I would like to see the show live instead of being recorded over two days at the start of the week. I used to like the way they would comment on news stories and issues of the day on Channel Four.

I know the studio at Cactus TV is small, but I also think may an audience present would give the show a different feel.

Looks like that's what they've done, it's essentially the same set as before, but in wood, cream and brown rather than bright red. It looks much more cosy, less sterile and bigger. They've got rid of that silly name, but the titles are a bit rubbish, especially at the end

Have they got rid of the bar? I don't really think it works/worked.

Also, do you think they might bring back topical debates rather than just sticking with interviews? That would be nice.

They've sill got the green roomy bit with the comedian

It would be nice, but it's not what the programme's about so it seems unlikely

"High audience retention"? It launched with, what, 100k and fell to 13k by the time it was pulled, lower than the previous UK Gold+1 average for that slot. And just relaunched with 28k at 6pm.
