It's on until the 8th February and not one day is sold out.

That's bad. Very Happy

That could be because that ticket distributer isn't exactly the best, if they use a diffrent distributer they would probably get more audince members, some people on Monday see the 5 O'clock show and then go to the bigger picture after as it is in the next studio

Is that the Graham Norton Show? I thought they filmed that at BBC Television Centre.

Yep - the current series of Graham Norton's late evening BBC One show is shot at London Studios I believe.

I'd have to be very ill not to be able to summon up the energy to switch this show off.

A second series - don't hold your breath. With the ratings the way they are, they'll be lucky to make it to the end of this one...

What are the ratings like now, does anybody know?

The show has good and bad days must be getting short of ideas having these celebritys on now. I did go and see it live (was in the audience) which was very good seeing the other side of the coin Very Happy Very Happy .Did upgrade to " priority" tickets which was not needed. As they did not have enough people to fill the seats.Just have to see if the show returns later in the year Confused: or next year Confused: (runs until FEB 10th)
I Think that Richard Shocked and Mel Cool are doing a good job considering the show it replaced and it is totally different .I would like to know the viewing figures for the show.Any one know how can we find out Confused:

Yeh Paul O Grady is a funny guy. Richard isnt the type for this show. He lacks in the humour he has in Top Gear.

Dreadful. Is Sue really that desperate?

Should never have made it off the cutting room floor. Really.

1.3 million, a 9% share.

O'Grady got 2-2.5 million...

I don't know why they just put Des and Mel back on at 5pm like they did for a brief time before.

Because Des and Mel works better at lunchtime.

Let's face it, nothing is ever going to beat Paul O'Grady so comparing ratings will mean every show will now be a flop.

I happen to think the show has now found its feet and is quite good. If it had come before PO'G people would have lower expectations

They tried them there before and it didn't work, the fact is nothing there works as well as O'Grady did for ITV.

One thing I did think while watching The 5 O'Clock Show was that it seemed to come from a bigger studio & have a bigger audience set up. According to this from Guardian's Media Monkey Paul O'Grady noticed this as well.

O'Grady's gripes
Paul O'Grady himself last night added two new entries to his growing list of reasons for leaving ITV. Starting with the amount of money and resources the broadcaster threw at Top Gear presenter Richard Hammond's daytime show, which replaced O'Grady's programme in the 5pm slot this month. But apparently the absolute clincher was the look of slack-jawed astonishment on the face of O'Grady's guest Joanna Lumley when he told her backstage what ITV was paying him.

I really am enjoying The 5 O'Clock Show now, the only problem I have is that Richard's name is still in the title.

If it wasn't for Mel, the programme wouldn't be at all watchable.
I think that they are creating a great pairing, more so now than the previous weeks.

Even though I was liking it before, I do think that it is better now, and keeps growing as it changes. I have liked the guests this week, a quick interview and the use of them through the show gives the show a it extra.

I'm also enjoying the 'You're having a Laugh' feature, and I'm actually finding some of the wannabe comedians to be quite funny.

I'll look forward to another series. What ITV have to think of is that they need to find something to fill in. Even if they do find a successful replacement to Paul O'Grady, they still need something to fill in between that programme being on air.

The last series was in studio1 in The London Studios but now it is in studio 2 (the one where the Paul O'Grady show was in and The Friday night project is made now on Thursday evenings). It is in studio 2 now because the 5 O'clock show is in studio 1 now. The Bigger Picture is recorded as live at about 6:30 on Monday and broadcast a couple of hours later after it is edited (as the recording time is longer than 30 minuites) and is broadcast later that night
