this show got 2m viewers for the pilot according to ITV Sales, not bad

That wasn't the pilot, the pilot was called The 5 O'Clock Show and was made by these people.

The televised show has undergone a radical overhaul from the pilot. And what ITV Sales doesn't tell you is that the audience is down on what Paul O'Grady got in that slot and on the day it was beaten by virtually every other channel, even Newsround beat it!! Shocked And the following day the audience dropped.

Don't know how well it did for the rest of the week though.

Lost in TV provide audiences for TV Shows, they don't make programmes. I should know, we used them ourselves!

I would promote Paul O'Grady to true Primetime with his show to be broadcast on Tuesday between 8pm and 9pm (when ITV are not showing Champions League) - September through to end of May

I think you're wrong. Paul O'Grady's Show suits his timeslot. It's the perfect thing to watch in the late afternoon, and it wouldn't work in Prime Time in it's current format.

Paul O'Grady's show is one of the most rareist commodities... The show appeals to the WHOLE family no matter what age, religion, sex or race. Therefore I feel that it would do well during the peak time audience (between 7pm and 10pm) - given a correct timeslot, of course!!!

well i think your wrong on lots of counts....sorry!!

firstly the pilot wasn't broadcast - the first show apparently got 2.5m and its been going pretty strong since then!

i've been to see this show a couple of times and i think its really good. why should all our shows on tv these days be so celebrity driven...isn't celebrity big brother bad enough!!

Richard and Mel work well together and it's a really fun recording. The show is made by SO television, which is Graham Norton's company, so they must know what they are talking about!!

I think you should all go: check out: www.tvrecordings.com for tickets and make up your mind once you've seen it live!

Ps: TV Recoridngs is a v good site as well btw: lots of great shows! Very Happy

Watched an episode of the new show yesterday. Really quite enjoyed it - amazingly it had some original content, and wasn't just fluff. The bit about confusing call centre voice mail systems was so left field - as was the camper van vs winnebago review.

It felt quite confident - and pacy - without being too much like the Paul O'Grady show or as annoying as Richard and Judy.

I quite like both Richard and Mel - both bright and witty and quite watchable.

I wasn't a huge fan of Paul O'Grady's show (so shoot me - it just didnt appeal to me) - so I won't miss it!

Sorry bismarke, being in a studio audience is no way to judge a show. You have to make like a viewer and watch it on the TV like the watching millions (or in this show's case, the watching hundreds).

2 million was the highest viewing figure it achieved (on the first day) then its been downhill (numbers-wise) all the way.

And not surprising - it is dire!

Even Richard Hammond doesn't seem to know what it's about, the audience are very uninvolved and everything goes on WAY WAY too long.

Just because SO make good telly doesn't mean they can't also do bad - and this is a shocker!

The first show was awful, but it has definitely improved. Remember what the Paul O’Grady show was like when it started, a bit disjointed, it took a good few weeks to find its feet. Richard and Mel are working well together now, it has the potential to be quite good, but is still lacking in some areas.
